Twice named Orlando’s EVENT OF THE YEAR, “The Player’s Ball” brings the best of Las Vegas to Central Florida on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 during their annual charitable event to benefit the Bridges of Light Foundation.
The glitz and glamour of Sin City will light up the Waldorf Astoria Orlando as guests gather for an exclusive evening of chic cocktails, dancing, dining and gaming. The evening will feature both a live and silent auction with items specially selected for their quality and exclusivity; cuisine specially prepared by the executive chef at the Waldorf Astoria; incredible entertainment; casino gaming tables and a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament.
“The Player’s Ball is a one-of-a-kind event where guests are transported to the high-energy environment of Las Vegas for the night while taking part in the special experience of raising funds to help children in need in our community,” said Lora DeLorenzo, Event Chair.
“It was important to me to create a source where funds raised could be redirected back into the community for a positive impact on our youth and I’m happy to say that this event is doing just that and has become one of the hottest tickets in town,” said Stacey Papp, Founder of Bridges of Light Foundation.
