A teacher at Edgewater High School is no longer on the job as an investigation gets underway regarding allegations that she had sexual relationships with students at the school.
Amber Elery, 28, was suspended last Wednesday as DCF investigates allegations of sexual contact with three students all under the age of 18 years, reports clickorlando.com.
This incident comes just a little over three months where an Edgewater High School soccer gym coach was arrested for unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Agostinho LM. Rodrigues 50, a certified instructor, employed as a soccer coach by the Orange County School District, was arrested on August 3, 2010 and charged with several counts of sexual battery and sexual activity with a minor.
According to news reports, the Orange County School Board is investigating allegations regarding Ms. Elery.
