Dunkin’ Donuts Expands in Orlando

Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s every day, all-day stop for coffee and bake good, announced on Thursday it has signed agreements with two franchisees to develop 4 new restaurants in Orlando.

The locations targeted for development are in Central East Orlando, where three restaurants will be opened over the next several years, with the first location scheduled to open in 2012 and the remainder by 2014.  One restaurant is slated to be opened in South East Orlando in 2012.

In addition to restaurants in Orlando, the North Central Pinellas region of Tampa has been targeted for four units by the Adler Group, the first to open in 2011.

Eight restaurants will be developed in Tallahassee by a single franchisee, one of which opened on Bannerman and Thomasville Road in December 2010.

Dunkin’Donuts development throughout Florida is part of a steady and strategic growth strategy, which includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities across the country to help drive the leading coffee and bakery chain’s growth, a statement from Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. stated.
