Driver Reached 105 MPH, Arrested under New Super Speeder Law in Central Florida

A 22-year-old driver recently reached 105 MPH and was arrested under the new Super Speeder law in Central Florida.




According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s office, 22-year-old Anthony Handam was arrested under Florida’s new Super Speeder law after he was clocked at 105 miles per hour in a 45 MPH zone on CR 3 in DeLeon Springs.

Florida’s new law, which took effect July 1st, offers fines and even jail time for those driving faster than 100 MPH, or 50 MPH over the limit.
