Dr. Phillips Center Leaders Meet with Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity

The Central Florida Beta Xi Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity held their March meeting at the offices of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.  The organization’s monthly event was hosted by Dr. Phillips Center board members Joseph Cleveland and Representative Geraldine Thompson.

Sigma Pi Phi members and their spouses, along with leadership from the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho, Delta Sigma Theta Sororities and The Links, Inc. met on March 26 for a luncheon and presentation on the planned performing arts center by Dr. Phillips Center President Kathy Ramsberger, highlighting the Center’s mission and its commitment to the Central Florida community.

Founded in 1904, Sigma Pi Phi is the oldest Greek letter organization comprised primarily of African American men and today has more than 100 chapters throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean.
