Lights, Camera, Action! The Dr. Phillip’s High School TV/Film Magnet program will be having its’ 4th Annual Film Festival March 20, 2009 at 7pm at the Dr. Phillips High School Auditorium. This year’s film festival, “Your Name in Lights” Movies through the Decades, will display a variety of talented films produced, edited and directed by students as well as full production dance and musical numbers depicting movies through the decades from the Roaring 20’s to the present.
“Your Name in Lights” is a star-studded event complete with a red carpet entrance, star look-a-likes, several esteemed judges in the Central Florida TV and Film Industry, category awards and more. Dr. Phillips Film Festival gives you more films, dance and fun with full production numbers choreographed and directed by Cecilia Wheeler. This production showcases many talented Dr. Phillip’s students in all aspects of the film industry through their films, directing, editing, acting and dance. You won’t want to miss all your favorite star look-a-likes and upcoming new films of every genre. You can join in the fun by coming dressed in your favorite decade star and get your picture taken on the red carpet.
