The FIFA World Cup is the most-watched sporting event in the world and Orlando residents don’t have to travel to Qatar to watch this year’s tournament. Dezerland Action Park Orlando on International Drive can be your hub for the 2022 FIFA World Cup matches.
During regular park hours from November 20th to December 18th, Dezerland will be showing the games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on televisions throughout the complex. The indoor attraction will be decorated with flags representing the different countries participating in the tournament to celebrate the international competition.
To get into the spirit for the global event, guests can enjoy cuisines from a variety of cultures in Dezerland’s food hall. If you’re cheering for the UK, visit Fish and Chips for a taste of the classic British comfort food with crispy cod or golden fried shrimp served with chips that can be customized with a variety of seasonings or toppings. Amigo Burrito serves Latin favorites like yucca fries, empanadas and churros for fans of Latin America’s teams.
Dezerland’s custom Volkswagen beer bus will be serving up fan’s favorite draft beers for guests to enjoy during the games. Celebrate your team’s win with a pint or a martini from the full-service 007 Fuego Bar or relax with a sweet treat from Glida where guests can create their own soft serve ice cream or frozen yogurt masterpiece.
Once the games are over, visitors can explore Dezerland’s Orlando Auto Museum, which features more than 2,000 vehicles from around the world and take selfies with many vehicles made famous by television shows and movies like Scooby Doo, Batman, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, The Fast and the Furious, Mad Max, and James Bond. Guests can also take part in their own friendly competition at over 20 indoor attractions, including Dezerland’s boutique bowling alleys, the NERF Thunderfoam Arena, or on Florida’s longest indoor karting track with three skill and speed levels.
Dezerland Action Park Orlando is nearly the size of 15 football fields, making it Florida’s largest indoor attraction with over 850,000 square feet of family entertainment options including a Cinemark movie theater. The park is home to the Orlando Auto Museum with more than 2,000 vehicles, making it the state’s largest auto museum. Dezerland also features Florida’s longest indoor go-kart track, boutique bowling with full bar and restaurant service, more than 300 video and arcade skill games, a 30,000-square-foot trampoline park, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, play shooting, bumper cars, axe throwing, electric mini-cycles, rage room, and more.
