Deputies are searching for two suspects who attempted to carjack a victim early on Friday morning in Poinciana.

The victim told investigators he was waiting in his car with his daughter for her school bus, parked near Americana Court and San Remo Road, just before 5:30 a.m.  That’s when two unknown black males approached the vehicle at gunpoint and motioned him to get out of the car.

The victim was able to speed away, but the suspects fired a shot at the car, then fled the area.

One of the suspects is described as a black male in his early 20’s, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt and black cap with white letters. The suspects were driving a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Ford Explorer.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
