Deputies have identified the woman who was shot and killed in a home on Orange County’s west side on Tuesday morning.
The victim is 33-year-old Rosemond E. McNeil.
Michael M. Alleyne, 36, was charged yesterday with first degree murder in McNeil’s killing.
Alleyne, after the shooting went to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and confessed to killing McNeil. Investigators then went to the 5418 Fox Brian Drive location, off north Powers Drive, entered the residence and found McNeil deceased.
Alleyene is being held in the Orange County Jail without bond.
