Orange County deputies say, the man and woman found dead in their home in east Orange County on Friday morning, were killed.
52-year-old James C. Smith and his wife, 59-year-old Annmarie K. Smith were found dead in a home in the 2700 block of Aein Road, off Rouse Road in the Union Park area.
The Smiths’ bodies were discovered around 7:00 a.m., by James’ mother who went to check on him after he failed to show up for a scheduled appointment.
Neighbors told investigators they heard gunshots between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Investigators have provided few details on the double murder, but said, there are no suspects at this time.
