Deputies connect man to at least 35 auto thefts

A man believed to be connected to at least 35 vehicle burglaries in Orlando and Orange County, over the past year, has been arrested.

Travis Andrews, 25, has been booked into the Orange County Jail and faces multiple burglary charges.

Andrews, who was arrested last fall as a result of several burglaries, was released earlier this year, police said.

Police say, Andrews conducted at least 14 burglaries in Orlando and 17 in Orange County, including in the Pine Hills and Rosemont areas. In one of the burglaries, Andrews is believed to have stolen a .32 caliber hand gun. He has also been connected to at least one residential burglary that occurred in the 4600 bl0ck of Rose of Jericho Court.

Detectives do not believe that Andrews was connected to any organized crime group.
