Terence Lenamon, a death penalty qualified attorney, dropped out of the Casey Anthony’s defense team last week.
Lenamon said that he dropped the case because he disagreed with the legal strategy of Tot Mom’s lead attorney Jose Baez.
According to Lenamon, “We had a difference in what I believe should have been done with the approach that is mental health related. ”
Lenamon clarified that he would have had Casey plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
Baez who is not a death penalty qualified attorney has said that, he will soon name another attorney that’s qualified.
