Daytona Lagoon Reopens for Season

Daytona Lagoon’s waterpark will open for the 2023 season on Saturday, March 4th and will be open 11am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday during opening weekend. The 2023 season will include a lineup of brand-new events and continued improvements around the park.




Daytona Lagoon“We are so excited for the 2023 waterpark season opening,” said Tyler Currie, General Manager for Daytona Lagoon. “We have missed seeing our waterpark patrons and all of the excitement from the kids that it brings. We also can’t wait to introduce new fun experiences, along with new upgrades.”

This summer starting June 9th, Friday Night Luaus will debut and continue every Friday in the summer through August 11th. The Luaus will be held at the waterpark and will feature live Polynesian-themed entertainment including hula dancers and fire swallowers who will be performing 15-minute shows through the night, plus a Kona Ice Truck, food and drink specials. Admission to Friday Night Luaus is free for 2023 Season Passholders and is $25.99 for non-season passholders and includes waterpark entry from 4pm – 10pm.

Daytona Lagoon is also hosting a Summer Character Series. Angry Birds will kick off the summer series on Sunday, June 5th with an exclusive luncheon and meet and greet with lovable characters Red and Chuck from Angry Birds. Other characters scheduled throughout the summer include Princesses, Superheroes and Diary of a Wimpy Kid for guests to meet, interact and take photos with.

Family Night is back starting Wednesday June 7th. This popular weekly event features music, games and prizes and has been a community staple for the past 3 years.  Families can enjoy a discounted waterpark admission from 4pm – 10pm every Wednesday for only $22.99 per person. 2023 Season Passholders can enjoy Family Night for free, and season passes allow access to the waterpark every day during operating hours and is the best value.

Daytona Lagoon is also in the process of providing upgrades to the park for the season. Guests can expect updates such as a new restaurant, a new ice cream bar, new cabanas, restroom upgrades, and more.
