Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando City Council will hold two public hearings on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2013/2014, before implementation gets underway on October 1, 2013.
A statement from the Mayor’s office said, the budget being presented is “a balanced budget [one], without raising taxes or making any major additional reductions to services or programs.”
“This careful planning under Mayor Dyer’s leadership is why the City of Orlando continues to be in the best financial shape of any major city in State of Florida,” the statement added.
