CFX Temporarily Suspends Cash Toll Collection

As Central Florida is under a Hurricane Watch and Tropical Storm Warning ahead of Nicole, the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) will temporarily suspend cash toll collection and close its headquarters and E-PASS Customer Service Walk-In Center.

CFX closure details due to Nicole, which is expected to become a hurricane before making landfall in Florida, and Veterans Day are as follows:



  • CFX Headquarters, located at 4974 ORL Tower Road, Orlando, Florida 32807 will temporarily close effective Wednesday, November 9th at 3:00pm and resume regular hours of operation on Monday, November 14, 2022. The building is closed Friday to observe Veterans Day.
  • E-PASS Customer Service Walk-In Center, located at 525 S. Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, Florida will be closed Wednesday, November 9th at 2:30pm – Friday, November 11. Resuming normal operational hours on Saturday, November 12th. Please monitor social media for extended closures if needed over the weekend.
  • Cash Toll Collection, CFX will temporarily suspend cash toll collection to ensure the safety of toll collectors, starting Wednesday, November 9th at 2:30pm. Anticipate cash toll collection to resume, Friday, November 11th at 6:00am. All drivers paying tolls with cash will be charged at the cash rate via toll invoice during this time.

The E-PASS Customer Service Call Center will remain open with limited staffing Wednesday, November 9th through Thursday, November 10th. During this time, customers may experience longer than normal wait times. As always, CFX encourages all E-PASS customers to manage their account online or download the free E-PASS app.

The E-PASS Customer Service Call Center will be closed on Friday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
