CFWC, Mise en Place team up to feed Orlando’s hungry on Thanksgiving

thanksgiving_dinnerChristian Family Worship Center, new to the East Side of Orlando, has partnered with Mise en Place and Gospel 1680 WOKB Jimmy Williams Show and on this Thanksgiving, homeless families in the Central Florida area will feast on a Thanksgiving dinner they won’t forget.

From 11am – 3pm on Thanksgiving Day, the Mise en Place truck will be parked at Al’s Food Store, corner of Gore and Parramore, and all who are hungry, let them come.

Larry and Marissa Tatum, owners of Mise en Place, recently acquired their business on wheels and strongly believe that people don’t care what you know; they just need to know that you care. “God didn’t call on us to be average. If we’re going to make an impact in this city, we’re going to have to always be willing to reach out to our brothers and sisters who have fallen upon hard times”, Larry adds.

CFWC, a church with small beginnings, prides itself on being a church of love seeking to make a huge impact in Central Florida by feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, while offering hope to the hopeless. Pastor Jerry Q Parries, senior pastor of Christian Family, says, “We are all God’s children and because God commissioned us to show love to one another, it’s just reasonable that we give back to those less fortunate.”
