A Central Florida inmate’s death is under investigation.
On August 28th, 37-year-old inmate Jack Daniel Knox reported experiencing stomach pain to detention staff.
According to local law enforcement, he was transported to Tampa General Hospital.
On September 3rd, Knox went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced deceased at TGH.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation and said they will follow up with the Medical Examiner’s Office for an official cause of death.
