The State released today dozens of photographs and over 1, 400 pages of documents in the case against Casey Anthony.
Casey Anthony is facing first degree murder charges in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The photographs released include, Casey’s tattoo “Bella Vita” , duct tape found over Caylee’s mouth and the shovel Casey borrowed from a neighbor.
Eyewitness News had earlier reported that the duct tape the Anthony’s used to hold up Caylee posters just three days after Casey’s arrest, had the same identifying markings investigators found on the duct tape on the Anthony’s gas can.
The FBI’s report had said that the duct tape over little Caylee’s mouth was different from the tape found in the Anthony’s garage. This is because the tape over the child’s mouth had been exposed to the elements for several months and was badly deteriorated.
However, the deterioration allowed for very distinct markings on the duct tape to become evident and it shows the unique brand and type. It’s the same markings Eyewitness News found on duct tape the Anthony’s used to hold up Caylee posters and the same identifying markings investigators found on the duct tape on the Anthony’s gas cans.
So, the duct tape found over Caylee’s mouth when her remains were found in the woods appears to be similar to the duct tape used to hold up Caylee posters, as well as, similar to the duct tape found on the Anthony’s gas cans.
