The case against a UCF philosophy professor who claimed she was racially profiled and discriminated against when police stopped her car, has been closed, according to a report released by the UCF Police Department on Wednesday.
clickorlando.com: Campus police said the incident on Aug. 9 turned into a drug investigation because Jennifer Lisa Vest had prescription drugs in her glove box at the time of the stop.
Ultimately, police found prescription drugs in her glove box in a bottle that clearly bore her name. Even so, they launched a full-scale drug investigation that included a K-9 sweep of her car and a search of her body.
