Carpenter Homes Partners with Coldwell Banker Realty in Florida

Carpenter Homes has partnered with Coldwell Banker Realty to provide agents to staff its four new home stores in Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, Palm Bay and Palm Coast. Every new home will also be listed in MLS by Coldwell Banker Realty.




Carpenter HomesCarpenter Homes is a Tampa-based production builder that buys lots in already established communities in numerous Florida towns and cities. A Florida Green Building Coalition certified builder, its goal is to create value with sustainable homes with several energy-saving features. Its homes start at a fast-disappearing price point in Florida, the low $300s, with several additional options in the $350-$400s range and beyond.

Ron Carpenter, the CEO and owner of Carpenter Homes, explained how its greener to make use of existing lots than new developments. Its new construction standards also meet or exceed the stricter Florida building codes in place to weather hurricanes and tropical storms. “We had 100+ homes in the path of Hurricane Ian and they all withstood the storm,” he said. “I always knew Carpenter Homes would be more than just a brand. It is my family’s name. We are going to build one heck of a home and conduct business with integrity and take pride in everything we do.”

Carpenter Homes COO and owner Larry Thompson is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations. He oversees the building of every new home. In his decades of building experience, Thompson has been responsible for the construction of approximately 10,000 homes during his career. “We look at every phase of construction to make sure it’s right before we go to the next phase. We also only build the homes we have the materials for to produce the home, that we can build in a timely manner, and, more importantly, which we can properly oversee.”

That translates into home buyers not having to wait many, many months to close on and move into their new homes. A Carpenter home typically gets released to the market for sale once it hits the framing stage. That way, the home is much closer to completion—approximately 60-75 days away.
