Deputies are investigating a burnt body inside a Chrysler vehicle found at the intersection of West McCormick and Ingram Roads in Apopka late Saturday night.
Firefighters responded to 701 West McCormick Road around 11:00 pm, on January 1st, after receiving a report of a vehicle on fire along the wood line. Upon extinguishing the fire, firefighters and deputies discovered a body inside the late model Chrysler 300.
Deputies suspect foul play, but would not say why they do not believe the fire was accidental.
The identity of the victim nor name of the owner of the Chrysler has been released.
