District 2 Commissioner Fred Brummer will join the Orange County Parks and Recreation Division in celebrating the Grand Opening of the Orange County Orlando Magic Recreation Center at Silver Star Community Park on Wednesday, October 27th at 10am.
Silver Star Community Park, located at 2801 N. Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando, also boasts a new playground. This is the fourth of five recreation centers completed in the county; the West Orange Recreation Center in Winter Garden is expected to be completed in early 2011.
