The brother of a suspect accused of stabbing to death a bouncer at a popular downtown club in Orlando, turned himself over to police on Friday.
Orlando police had arrested and charged 24-year-old Eric Sandhaus with second degree murder in the death of Milton Torres, a bouncer at The Lodge, on north Orange Avenue last Saturday.
But police now believe that it is 26-year-old Craig Sandhaus, Eric brother, who stabbed Torres.
Police said, Craig’s testimony and confession are consistent with evidence in the case.
Murder charges against Eric, who has been in the Orange County Jail for nearly one week since his arrest, have been dropped.
Craig Sandhaus, of Longwood, was charged with second degree murder. He was booked into the Orange County Jail just after 3:00 pm, on Friday.
According to a statement from an official of the Orange County Jail, Craig Sandhaus has posted a $75,000 bond and will going out on GPS home confinement.
