A bouncer at a popular downtown bar in Orlando is dead, after being stabbed by a patron early on Saturday morning.
Orlando Police said, Milton Torres, a bouncer at The Lodge on North Orange Avenue died from a stab wound believed to have been inflicted by 24-year-old Eric Sandhaus of Sweet Bay Drive, Longwood.
Eric and his brother, Craig Sandhaus, 26, were being escorted from the bar by Torres, following an altercation, police said. That’s when Torres was stabbed in the chest.
Torres was rushed to a local area hospital, but died of his injury.
Police charged Eric Sandhaus with second degree murder. He was booked into the Orange County Jail around 11:30 am on Saturday without bond.
According to news reports, Eric’s brother, Craig was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. He was released from jail on a $600 bond.
