Skeletal remains of a human body were found on Sunday morning in the 8900 block of Turkey Lake Road in Orange County, but so far, deputies have said little else.
The remains were discovered by a passerby around 11:00 a.m., and was located in a wooded area behind a shopping plaza.
Investigators have not released any further information regarding the condition of the human remains, gender, race, cause of death or timeframe the remains were present. Â The identity of the victim has not been established, investigators say.
Deputies are treating the case as a homicide.
