This month, the Biden-Harris campaign and the Florida Democratic Party opened 11 new coordinated campaign offices across the state of Florida, dedicated to reelecting President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot.
The new offices in Broward, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Lee, Seminole, Duval, and Orlando mark a major expansion of the presidential campaign’s Florida operation and signify the campaign’s commitment to the Sunshine State as a crucial part of their path to victory.
Even though the Democratic Party is currently in disarray with a small faction calling for Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race, the Democrat’s campaign as well as the national and state party continue to support the Biden-Harris ticket.
“We’re proud to kick off the opening of our coordinated campaign offices across the state as we work to ignite the grassroots energy that is so important to defeating Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans in Florida,” said Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried. “I’m thrilled to see our infrastructure expanding, knowing that each new office brings us closer to electing democrats up and down the ballot and reelecting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to finish the job in November.”
Each of the eight office openings this month featured appearances by both national and local leaders who energized volunteers on the ground and underscored the stark contrast between President Biden and the Democrats’ record of delivering results for Florida and the threat Donald Trump and Republicans pose to Floridians’ freedoms, economic future, and democracy.
“Today’s office openings are a clear demonstration of the Biden-Harris campaign and the Florida Democratic Party’s commitment to Florida,” said Jasmine Burney Clark, Florida State Director for Biden-Harris 2024. “These offices will serve as crucial hubs for voter engagement and volunteer coordination, as we continue to get our message to every Floridian about how bad a second Donald Trump term would be for the Sunshine state and our freedoms.”
