Orlando police arrested a man who they say robbed two women using a baseball bat as they entered their home early on Sunday morning.
48-year-old Juan Carrillo was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a weapon and false imprisonment.
Carrillo is believed to have attacked the two women with a baseball bat, robbed them, then fleeing the location at 300 E. South Street in Orlando. The attack was all caught on video, where the suspect could be seen swinging the baseball bat as the two women as they tried to enter a gated fence to their residence.
The women, who sustained non-life threatening injuries, were treated at the Orlando Regional Medical Center and released.
Carrillo was escorted out of the Orlando Police Department headquarters around 12:30 a.m., on Thursday morning and headed to the Orange County Jail.
