Amtrak is launching a flash Auto Train sale for travelers who want to skip the hassle and stress of driving on I-95 between the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast and Florida by taking the train with their vehicle aboard the Auto Train.
Now through November 28th, tickets are available for as low as $39 for travel in Coach and as low as $239 for travel in a First Class private room, plus the cost of a vehicle with this Auto Train sale.
Customers traveling in Coach enjoy wide, reclining seats with ample legroom, no middle seat and a large window to enjoy the view. Plus, all Auto Train Coach interiors have now been refreshed with new seating cushions and upholstery, carpeting and window curtains. Prior to arrival, a complimentary continental breakfast is also served.
For extra comfort and additional privacy, travelers can upgrade to a First Class private room. Accommodation options include a Roomette – featuring two comfortable seats that transform into upper and lower beds by night – or a Bedroom offering twice the space of a Roomette as well as an in-room sink, restroom and shower. All First Class customers receive priority boarding, a dedicated attendant and complimentary meals onboard – now featuring a new hot breakfast menu served prior to arrival. Selections include a bacon, egg and cheese souffle, an egg white breakfast sandwich and a continental breakfast.

The Amtrak Auto Train offers daily, non-stop service between Lorton, Virginia, which is near Washington, D.C. and Sanford in Central Florida, near Orlando. According to Amtrak, customers can travel with several types of vehicles, including cars, vans, SUVs and motorcycles. This is the only such service in the U.S. and eliminates nearly 900 miles of driving between the Northeast and Florida.
