One officer’s story:
On December 22, 2011 Deputy Miguel Rosario a three year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential fire while on his way to report for duty. Upon arrival, the home appeared to be fully engulfed in flames. Deputy Rosario located one victim who advised that his father was still inside the house. Without regard for his own safety Deputy Rosario ran into the home and pulled the unconscious man to safety. Deputy Rosario is one of several law enforcement officers who will be honored.
