The Amway Center’s first quarter figures are in and according to WFTV, the state-of-the art facility recorded close to $4.7 million in revenues, roughly the same as the Amway Arena over the same period. But with expenses running $1.3 million more than the Amway Arena, net income was a mere $34,000 for the Amway Center. During the same period, the old arena made over $1 million.
