Florida added 14,580 private sector jobs during the month of March, according to the ADP Regional Employment Report released Wednesday. The growth in jobs is on pace with the 6-month average for the state, but slightly below the 12-month average, ADP said.
The services sector showed the biggest gains with 11,260 largely low-wage jobs. The natural resources/mining and construction sector added 2,770 jobs in March, with manufacturing a mere 550.
Texas added 28,650 jobs and California gained 25,500 in March, the ADP also said.
