Disney Wish, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, completed a major milestone with its first “float out.” A float out is a process in shipbuilding that marks when the ship leaves dry land and becomes waterborne for the first time. There’s usually a ceremony commemorating the event and Disney didn’t miss the occasion.
Celebrating in true Disney style with fireworks and a special appearance by Captain Minnie Mouse, the newest Disney Cruise Line ship touched water for the first time during the major construction milestone.
The Disney Wish recently delayed its inaugural sailing from June 9th to July 14, 2022.
