Universal Orlando Drops Indoor Mask Mandate Again

Universal Orlando Resort changed their indoor mask policy once again on February 12th, no longer requiring Guests or employees who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to wear face masks anywhere. In December during the omicron surge, Universal required masks indoors for Guests and employees regardless of vaccination status.



As Universal does not verify vaccination status of Guests, they can only encourage any visitors who may not be vaccinated to wear masks. Of course, any Guest who chooses to wear a mask can still do so and Universal is still selling their cloth face masks. It’s just another sign that tourism in Florida is leaving COVID-19 behind.
