The Timely Justice Act, legislation aimed at speeding up the workings of the capital punishment system, is not sitting well with two exonerated inmates. One of them says he would have died an innocent man if the legislation had passed while he was on death row.
The system has been criticized for allowing some condemned inmates to languish for decades on death row. Critics fear speeding up the process could condemn innocent people among the state’s 405 prisoners on death row, Myfoxorlando.com reports.
Gov. Rick Scott is yet to decide whether he would veto or sign off on the proposed legislation.

i am big time in favor of the DP, but cases like this (pathetic lying FBI) are why we should NOT speed up the process.
