The Zoo Doctor’s Big Job

Dr. Trevor Zachariah oversees over 600 animals at the Brevard County Zoo in his position as a veterinarian for the park, and he does his job so well in part because he recognizes how much the animals mean to the people who pay money to visit the zoo.

“He has a humongous job,” says Shelly Szfraniec, the zoo’s director of communications and marketing, talking to Florida Today. “He is responsible for all the animals, from ducks to giraffes. He’s a role model.”
