DeLand police have identified the skydiver who was killed when his parachute malfunctioned on Wednesday.
Santiago Rosell, 62, of Altamonte Springs died following the tragic accident around 5:00 p.m., clickorlando.com reported.
Rosell’s parachute went down in the 1600 block of Fightline Boulevard not far from Skydive Deland, clickorlando.com also reported.
Deland police said, the crash is still under investigation.
As customary, the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
