A man who deputies say, sexually battered a woman twice, in now behind bars at the Marion County Jail.
31-year-old Kevin Clark-Broomfield was arrested Wednesday, after investigators say, he is the lead suspect in a case that started with him meeting the victim at a party.
The victim told investigators, Clark-Broomfield took her to a home in the Silver Springs Shores area where she said it was understood they “were just going to hang out.” That’s where it’s believed Clark-Broomfield raped the woman twice.
Investigators said, while the victim didn’t know Clark-Broomfield’s name, she was able to provide enough information for detectives to locate him.
