A Summerfield man was killed on Monday after fire ripped through his home, Marion County deputies said.
Investigators said, a next door neighbor called 911 to advise that the man was trapped inside.
Marion County Fire Rescue officials entered the home and found the man unresponsive.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
