Walt Disney World is probably feeling that it has run into a streak of bad luck as, as a third employee in just over a month, died on Monday night.
Stunt performer, Anislav Varbanov, 30, died during a rehearsal for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Varbanov was performing a tumbling roll when he was injured.
Orange County Sheriff deputies, who are investigation the accident said that, Varbanov was rushed to the Florida Hospital Celebration Health where he was pronounced dead just before 9:00 pm, last night.
A Disney spokesperson said that a tumbling roll is a common acrobatic maneuver in the Indiana Jones show, and its had been successful thousands of times.
Two other Disney employees, Austin Wuennenberg, 21, and Mark Priest, 47, died from their injuries on July 5th and August 10th, respectively.
No cause of death has yet been given, as the results of Varbanov’s autopsy are being awaited.
