A Bethune-Cookman university athletics teacher was caught in an undercover sting after he thought he was meeting a teenage girl for sex.
44-year-old Brian Jansen was arrested last Thursday, after he used a computer and cell phone to set up an encounter with whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Jansen actually turned up at the location in a Dodge mini van, only to be confronted by police officers, according to news reports.
“I knew it, I knew it. My life is over. I made a stupid decision,” Jansen blurted out when officers took him into custody, news-journalonline.com reported.
Jansen was released on a $30,000 bond. He has been charged with using a computer to seduce/solicit/lure or entice a child, traveling to seduce/solicit/lure or entice a child and using a two-way communication device to commit a felony, news-journalonline.com also reported.
