Maurice Draggon, instructional design administrator, of the Orange County Public Schools, has been selected to receive a 2013 Apple Distinguished Educator Award. Draggon works with educators across the district to successfully implement technology in their classrooms.
Apple Distinguished Educators (ADEs) are part of a global community of education leaders recognized for their work with Apple technology in and out of the classroom. They explore new ideas, seek new paths, and embrace new opportunities.
Just over 2,000 educators have received this award worldwide since 2006. The educators work with each other and with Apple to bring the freshest, most innovative ideas to students everywhere.
ADEs advise Apple on integrating technology into learning environments and share their expertise with other educators and policy makers.
