A Florida man walking his dog ended up with a gunshot wound to the leg, after a driver became angry because he had to stop his truck as the dog got loose.
Peter Harbachuk and his wife were walking their golden retriever, when the dog escaped from her leash, Raw Story reported.
Bella, the retriever, ran in front of a truck forcing the driver to stop. Initially a woman came out of the vehicle and shouted at the couple. Then a man emerged and pointed a gun at Harbachuk, Raw Story also reported.
“Some dude hopped out and he pointed a gun toward my head,” Harbachuk said. “I said, ‘Hey. This doesn’t have to go down like this.’”
The man then aimed the gun at Harbachuk’s leg and fired.
St. Petersburg police are searching for a clean-shaven, muscular, 5-foot, 10-inch tall man between 30 and 35 years old. The woman was thought be about 5 foot, 5 inches and between the ages of 20-25 years old. She was petite with short brown hair. It is believed that the suspects are traveling in a dark Ford F-150 pickup truck.
