Judge Patricia Schnegg in Los Angeles has delayed the sentencing of R& B Singer Chris Brown who beat up his then girlfriend, Barbadian-born pop singer, Rihanna, several months ago.
The judge is concerned that Brown does “Community Labor” like cleaning up graffiti or picking up trash, rather than’ easy’ “Community Service”, in Virginia. In this connection, the judge is waiting to hear back from Virginia, where Brown lives, as to the specifics of the “Community Labor”.
Brown pleaded guilty on June 22 for battering Rihanna on February 8th. His lawyers had worked out a plea deal which allowed him to avoid jail time.
Brown received 5 years probation, 180 days of “Community Labor” and 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.
