As the Northeast braces for a massive winter blizzard, already its effects are being felt in Orlando as regards flight cancellations.
At Orlando International Airport, 47 departure flights have already been cancelled as of 11:15 a.m., the Authority said Friday. Meanwhile, 27 incoming flights have also been cancelled.
Airlines currently affected are American, United, Delta, JetBlue, Airtran, Southwest.
Passengers are being urged to call their individual airlines in advance before heading to the airport.
There are predictions that the storm could dump up to 3 feet of snow from New York City to Boston and beyond.
