With the successful 2012 elections uplifting the LGBT community, the fight to be heard and to influence political decisions that affect the LGBT community is far from finished. With the need to furnish further success in politics, the Florida LGBT Democratic Caucus Winter Conference is nowbeing announced.
The Florida LGBT Democratic Caucus Winter Conference, hosted by the Rainbow Democratic Club of Orlando and sponsored by the GLBT Democratic Caucus and Florida Democratic Party, will commence on February 22 and end on February 24th.
Located in the Crowne Plaza in Downtown Orlando, the three-day event will push forward with educational sessions that will advance community involvement in advanced Florida Democratic Party VAN training, fund raising, messaging and successful lobbying. Guest speakers from local, state and national political repertoires will be present to address and engage the LGBT communities and their issues locally and abroad. Throughout the weekend, entertainment for all patrons will be provided at Ember, located on 42 W. Central Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32801.
