On Wednesday, a second man was arrested for his involvement in a home invasion on Carolina Avenue in St. Cloud, Kissimmee police say.
35-year-old Donovan Franklin Wing was taken into custody and charged with home invasion, burglary and aggravated assault while in possession of a firearm, among other charges.
Police say, Wing, along with Motley Cletus, 36, and another man entered the victim’s home in the early morning hours on Monday and one of them produced a stun gun. The victim was stunned with an electric stun gun and struck several times in the head, which resulted in multiple lacerations.
Subsequently, officers attempted to stop the vehicle in which the men were traveling and when the driver stopped, two of the men fled on foot. Motley, who was caught by officers, struck out, hitting one of the officers in the head.
Motley was charged with several crimes, including burglary to an occupied structure, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, robbery, grand theft, and battery on a law enforcement officer, among others. Police say, Motley had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Wing is currently being held at the Osceola County Jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
The third suspect is still at large, police also said.
