The Orlando Solar Bears announced Thursday that they will be collecting books for Nap Ford Community School before their 7:00 p.m. game against the Florida Everblades (Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes) on Friday, December 28.

All fans attending Friday’s 7:00 p.m. game against the Florida Everblades are encouraged to donate a new elementary school-aged appropriate book on their way into the arena. Donation stations will be set up in both the Disney Atrium, located at the Church Street entrance, as well as at the entrance from the Geico Garage. Everyone who donates a book will be entered to win two glass seat tickets to a future Solar Bears game. All of the collected books will be donated to the Nap Ford Community School.

The Nap Ford Community School will also be the beneficiary of the Chuck-A-Puck game taking place during Friday’s contest against the Everblades. Fans at the game can purchase the Chuck-A-Pucks at the stands located in the Disney Atrium and at the Geico Garage entrance.

“I am proud to serve on the Board of the Nap Ford Community School Foundation and know that our fans will help support this successful program that provides a strong educational foundation for its students,” said Bob Ohrablo, Solar Bears Chief Operating Officer/Managing Partner.
