Junior Gabriel Mesquita launched a free kick 18 yards into the back of the net in the 21st minute and that was all the scoring Men’s Soccer needed in a 1-0 victory over visiting Timber Creek.
Andres Alvarez registered nine saves, seven in the second half, to record the shutout in goal.
The DP defense was led by Tommy DiMauro, David DiMauro, Evan Barnes, Colin Cleven and Nigel Hidie. The Panthers improved to 3-4-3 on the season and are undefeated in their last five matches.
