Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando Area recently poured the foundation for the tenth — and final — building at Stag Horn Villas on Silver Star Road in Pine Hills.  It is the nonprofit’s first multifamily community.

During the Oct. 2008 groundbreaking ceremony at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando Area’s Stag Horn Villas, attendees were asked to write blessings for the future Habitat homeowners. These cards were then shredded and poured into the foundation of each building.

Last week, the nonprofit poured the foundation for the 10th and final building – and included the last bag of blessings.

The 58-townhome community is slated for completion in May 2013.
