Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will join other business and community leaders to teach Orange County Public School middle school and high school students about government and his job as Mayor of the City of Orlando as part of Teach-In 2012. Dyer will also highlight the importance of continuing education in today’s society and why youth should play an active role in the government.
Each November, the Orange County Public Schools Foundation hosts Teach-In as part of American Education Week. Teach-In brings business and civic leaders into the classrooms in a fun and engaging way to talk with students about academics, careers and their futures.
